Id drive anywhere but McLaren. My mom sat screaming in pain when she broke her arm in the waiting room. The reception people wouldn't even get up to see if someone could help her. Poor elderly lady in heart failure in extreme pain. I took her to another hospital that took her right in.
I had a bad fall on asphalt that involved trauma to my head, left arm and leg. I went to the ER to be sure I had no broken bones or internal bleeding. Dr. Attie assessed my injuries and reassured me I had neither per the x-rays and CT scan. He gave me instructions for self-care at home and warned me about the intense bruising (especially around my eyes) that would appear in a few days. Sure enough, w/i 48 hours I looked like a raccoon. Small up north hospital, staff is friendly and gets folks moved through the E.R. as quickly as possible.
This was such an amazing place. The staff were so sweet and made me feel pretty safe. They were understanding and such good help, I'm so glad I came here.
