I’ve done a lot with the Sparrow labs and I’ve gotten labs done at the Lake Lansing McLaren office and it’s very fast. Today I just had to drop off a specimen, not get any lab work done. At the Sparrow labs you don’t have to wait in line just to drop something off. Here… apparently you have to register and wait in line. I’ve been here over 40 minutes and I thought this was just going to be a quick in and out. I’m so late getting back to my job!! (2 stars instead of 1 because the staff is all very nice).

All that money for a new hospital, yet I can't get my blood drawn because the cloud technology they use for paperwork is down. Won't schedule appointments, instead rely on people to remember for themselves to get up an insanely early hour to go to the lab on their own time. Well how are people supposed to know if the system is down if they won't schedule appointments. I recommend going to a different lab to get bloodwork on because the staff here don't seem to care whether or not their technology works or not.

The receptionist, a younger Asian lady, was so rude... I explained I brought my mom in for blood work and she wasn't feeling great bcuz of her glucose level, she says really loud "If you wanna ask ALL THOSE PATIENTS to cut in line I am not asking them" First of all I NEVER ASKED YOU TO DO THAT... I wanted her to be aware my mom was having issues with her sugar being low. How embarrassing for her to do that. We WILL NEVER BE BACK AT THIS LOCATION

They don’t take appointments and see walking patients in random order you need to literally take the entire day off work if you need to come here

I’m so disappointed with McLaren. The process to get simple routine lab work is awful.
