OMG!!! Thank you, McLaren’s ER room staff from August 29th 2025! Thank you, to the Doctor and nurse that treated me that night in a timely manner. Thank you, for being so knowledgeable about accessing chest ports and drawing labs and using it for my treatment due to me in severe pain from being in sickle cell crisis! The treatment the Doctor ordered and the nurse administered to me got my pain levels under control enough to be discharged home! Thank you! Checked in online and it said there was a 30 minute wait to be seen. Waited over 2 hours for my girlfriend to be seen. Saw multiple people check in over an hour after we arrived and got seen before us. The irony of it all was the fact it was an infection caused by where an IV was put in at the same McLaren hospital. Should be a simple thing of prescribing antibiotics and send us on our way. The fact that we have to go through all this waiting and extra expenses for something the hospital caused is unacceptable. My girlfriend and I went to McLaren’s ER on 7/30 after she lost consciousness and hit her head. After hitting her head she seemed to seize up. I am not a medical doctor, but I do know many people who have regular seizures and this seemed like a seizure caused by the impact to her head (experiencing both arms and legs seizing involuntarily, confusion, grunting involuntarily, eyes fluttering, and head nodding involuntarily). Sad that a hospital of this size doesn't have a weekend radiologist on duty. Wait on the er for almost seven hours for results for a ct scan. Left there against medical advice with no results. Was told that it could be nine or ten hours for them. What if a person is having a serious medical issue. Not acceptable

I was there for a visit today and was left unattended for about two hrs waiting for a bp recheck It wasn't busy at all so I left went to sparrow and was out in less than 30 mins!
