I was there for a visit today and was left unattended for about two hrs waiting for a bp recheck It wasn't busy at all so I left went to sparrow and was out in less than 30 mins!

What an absolute disaster of a faculty, the waiting area smells like a latrine, which is especially upsetting as you will be here a very long time. This particular medical facility seems to have a unique way of handling patients just don't see any until they all leave in frustration or wait for them to die in the waiting room. I didn't care if I'm in a 50 car pile up on the expressway I WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE AGAIN. I'm the words of Fred Gwynne in Pet Sematary "Sometimes dead is better." Very rude, mean staff that doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about quality of care. You come there for help but they start off by accusing you of things rather than trying to see how they can help. Then they don’t listen to your symptoms and are quick to jump to a conclusion that is obviously no where close. Then with little to no thought or evaluation but rather minimum box checking they boot you out with the same issues. I understand that emergency rooms are busy. However we waited 3 and half hours for a hyped up, verbally aggressive doctor to blow off everything we told him. He seemed incredibly irritated that we were even there. Suggested an IV and blood draw to check for dehydration. My daughter started crying after he walked out and did not want him to come back. So we left to go to Sparrow instead.

Over a month ago , my husband went into AFIB , he’s 70 and never had this Before , called 911 , so he could be checked out right way , in the ambulance they did EKG , AFIB , he needs to go to the ER! 11 hours later after sitting in the waiting room , NO MEDS NO NOTHING TO HELP HIM !! I’m beyond disappointed , he could have had , a stroke or heart attack? I myself had to go to ER BY ambulance a couple weeks ago ! Got there at 8 pm , didn’t see a Dr until 4:00 in the morning!!
