Wish it was possible to give negative stars! Absolutely unacceptable experience. I brought my daughter to the emergency room for a horrible cough that i was concerned about and we were put in a room and completely ignored for over an hour without being seen. There was no one in the waiting room when we were there! When I finally asked how much longer it would be, I was told they were “extremely busy,” which made no sense we didn’t see anyone else and there was maybe a total of 6 cars in the parking lot including ours. I ended up visiting Corewell Health Beaumont Troy after desperately coming into the hospital for two consecutive days, complaining of a very serious issue. They discharged me immediately, but I then went to Corewell, where I had to be admitted. That’s when they discovered my problem and helped me.
I came in for coughing up blood. They did a chest x ray and said you’re fine and you can leave. They never looked in my throat or any blood work to see if the blood was coming from some place else.
Treated me for the day not days. Came back the next day with same bursitis and got treatment for 2 days. Went to third doctor at home and got treated for 3 days. Why not 1 doctor for 5 days of treatment. They all want insurance money. Very disappointed in health care today.
I called to ask if they were able to take care of my wife’s eye injury, the clerk transferred me to the back, another woman transferred me to a nurse, I waited 5 minutes on hold, ended up pulling into the parking lot since I was en route and someone finally answered and we were disconnected. Terrible service so far...however, once we got back, Joe and Allison were AMAZING, so that made things much better!
