Highly recommend McKenzie Psychology to anyone seeking supportive and effective psychological services. Dr. Castillo has been outstanding, professional, compassionate, and truly helpful in reducing my stress during a challenging time. The team was also incredibly understanding and flexible with fees when I needed extra support beyond what was covered elsewhere. Overall, my experience here has been very positive, and I've felt genuinely cared for. Great practice!
I went to here as I was desperate for help with my child. The psychologist we matched with was a terrible fit. She did absolutely nothing to help our family. When my son expressed his discomfort with meeting with her, she informed him that he had to consent to coming to appointments and did not have to come if he didnt want too. While I was upset at the time, I felt this comment was fair and did not want to continue paying for services that we were getting nothing out of. Dyana was amazing. I struggle immensely with socializing and in discussing my emotions, but she was beyond patient and kind to me. She was so well-spoken and knowledgeable, it really made my entire assessment process easy and comfortable. She was very open about the entire process and made sure to communicate with me every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me in this step of my life. Highly recommend her if you need an unbelievably kind and comforting environment to start healing 🥰
Dr. McKenzie was one of the worst psychologists I’ve ever had. She does not know how to handle her clients and gives poor advice.
I appear to not be the only one who found their payment and cancellation policy to be a little predatory, based on at least one other review. My councilor was kind, and helpful. If their business as a whole was more human oriented I might still be a patient of theirs. It's regrettable at a time when most all businesses of this kind have a wait list and options are slim.
