McKenzie just finished building my home. They have a wonderful team and a well organized process. They partner with many local companies and the craftsmanship of the work is high quality. I especially love my cabinetry, tile, and fireplace. I worked with one of their designers to design and create the feel of my home. Even if you have your own vision, she will help make sure all of your choices for colors, finishes, light fixtures, flooring, and tile complement each other. My home is beautiful and I absolutely love it!
We decided it was time to be closer to family and build a home that would allow us to age in place. Crissy guided us through the purchasing process in coordination with our realtor. The process of building a new home with McKenzie was a very enjoyable process. Crissy Holcomb helped us with the initial purchasing process and was always there to answer questions during the build. The superintendents Chris, Steve, Jake, and Jonathon were very helpful keeping the project moving forward and addressing any construction concerns. The follow-up service we have received since moving into our new home has been outstanding.
We bought a new “spec” McKenzie Collection townhome last June. We are very pleased with the purchase and overall build quality, design, and interior amenities including an elevator—all are first-rate. We wanted to stay in the Central Carmel/West-of-31 area while downsizing and eliminating most exterior home maintenance duties so JGVillage Townhomes made the most sense for us. The new home I built with McKenzie is the 6th new home I’ve built. The home I built with them was a semi-custom single family home in Carmel, and I’ve now been in my home for 20 months. I have built homes with national companies like Toll Brothers, and small builders that build a handful of houses each year. I would classify McKenzie as a small builder, and I think that’s the sweet spot. National builders, even the high end ones, just don’t have the flexibility a small builders has.
