I drove my ancient pug 35 minutes to get to Gruda. I had an appointment for 3pm and they put us in a room, but 37 minutes later I was still in the room waiting. I think the vet forgot about me. I had to go, and told them at the desk I couldn’t wait any longer as I had other plans. It took me 40 minutes to get home. I think if you have an appointment, this wait is unacceptable. Dr. Gruda repaired my small dog's femoral fracture in April 2025. My regular vet referred us after the injury, and our dog was operated on the same afternoon at Gruda. The staff were kind, and the repair - a compression plate with 6 screws - was very effective. Our dog is very active - running, jumping, playing with other dogs - and shows no evidence of any prior injury. A full recovery. The orthopedic surgery was worth every penny!
They were very nice and caring with our Doberman mix that is very scared of new people. They did great with him!
