The first time I visited the store I thought it was an Ace Hardware and then wondered why it just looked more run down and the customer service wasn't near what an Ace was. I found out it was a True Value. They did not have the knowledge, friendliness, nor products I would usually find at an ace, and they wouldn't let me return an opened unused item even though I had the receipt. I would have chosen Ace or Amazon instead if I had known. Sadly I won't be returning here even though it's around the corner.
These are the rudest people I've spoke to in sometime. Take your business elsewhere
I used to love this place because it’s right around the corner from my house and I have such fun memories of visiting true value as a kid. I remember you could buy everything from tools to lumber to hardware, toys and even comic books. I used to go to this store for the fond memories and was happy to pay a little more for items because of the convenience and the staff was always super nice and I really enjoy helping small businesses, especially since I own a business myself.. These guys routinely go above and beyond to assist in whatever project you are doing whether large or small and its very much appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!
