This is a great place to Kayak. There is a "soft" landing for kayakers just to the left of the boat ramp. It's not an obvious location. I question if it's supposed to be there. It's a better place to put in. Becareful of the deck near at the ramp. I found some fishing hooks laying on the wood. ...watch your pups if you bring them with you. Head just across the river to wind through tall grasses and other plant life. Bathrooms are available on site. I give this an average three. No swimming and no kayak launch.
Easy access and reasonable parking available. There's a place next to the boat ramp to launch your kayak. The tide was going out very strongly and I would have preferred not to work so hard, but the river is wide here with tall grass and lots of life.
There's a boat launch and a dock to fish from. Very peaceful and quiet area. Decent size parking lot for trucks with trailers.
Also known as Magruders Ferry. There is a boat ramp and a pier for sitting and fishing. Limited hours for fishing, though. Nice quaint spot with mature trees and a recessed area where you can pull up a chair right at the waters edge. One picnic table for seating for a small group. Love this spot. Not much there, but sometimes not much is needed. Perfect for me.
Easy in easy out, parking for trucks and trailers is out of the way. Slips are available for boats waiting to be pulled
