I first hired Mr. McGrew for a problem with a severe water leak at my back door. Several attempts to fix it had failed, including a contractor who swore that replacing the engineered wood siding with Hardie board would do the trick. I solicited 3 contractors to fix it: one quoted me $800 for a new frame and door, another quoted me $450 for I-don't-recall-what-exactly, and Mr. McGrew quoted me $50 to apply 2300 sealant along the outside.
