This is a great place to enjoy. I feel this was the best place, but have not been there much lately.
Three of us dined here, with one of us being hard to please in any situation. My crab cakes were good, the pasta my mom ordered wasn't bad, needed seasoning, but my son ordered a sandwich where the bread was too hard to bite, after a very long time the waitress came back and asked if he didn't like the sandwich and I told her about the bread. My food was great! (crab crusted trout) My wife's pasta was bland and the server seemed annoyed by us being there. Our first experience was definitely better. Also disappointing that "happy hour" only applied to the bar.
The service was excellent and I was impressed with their house salad. However I got the halibut and for $25 I was expecting something more than a frozen filet. It was rubbery and had zero taste. I ate the side veggies and prawns (all very good) but the main course left a lot to be desired.
It's a great family place to come to. The food and service is great .
My husband and I ate there for Easter dinner because we didnt feel like cooking. Mcgraths did not diappoint..great food, great service and a great price!
