The best hospitality on the Iditarod Trail
The family who own's and runs the coffee shop and lodge at McGrath outpost have really created something special here. You can tell the place is an absolute labor of love, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this place if you are looking for a spot to stay in town, or just drop in for a cup of coffee in the morning. For this hard to reach location, I think it would be hard to beat what you can get here.

Such a great spot, walking distance from downtown McGrath. My wife and I stayed last November and the owners are constantly upgrading the location. Very warm and welcoming owners and workers. A real delight in hospitality in the Bush of Alaska.
