McGowan Barber Shop is a family owned and operated barber business. I have been a regular customer for many years now, and I would not even think of going elsewhere. The shop is maintained excellently, and the atmosphere is welcoming.....almost like the customer is family, too. Every Thursday is discount day for men ($3.00 off the regular haircut price). I was visiting the Fredericksburg area and was looking for a haircut. If you are looking for a good and cheap haircut (Don't let the cheap bother you) this is the place. Absolutely professional, clean and has a very warm and welcome feeling to the shop. They are all about attention to detail. I highly recommend to anyone even with little one's.

It is a nice clean shop, the people are really nice and patient with the little ones. They have a special chair that is a fire truck which helps to distract small minds while they are getting their hair cut. I will be taking my son back!
