If I could give them 10 stars I would! We recently moved to the OBX & spoke to a few plumbers about installing a new freestanding tub & doing some other upgrades. Mike was by far the friendliest, most professional, experienced/knowledgeable & his crews are the same. He also has a network of other trustworthy contractors if you need other work done. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Every time I have called the Gentleman Plumber over the last 15 years, they have responded quickly and done an incredible job. Today, I was having a new fridge installed and the waterline valve was stuck. The company I bought it from left me to figure it out. Jeremy (one of the Gentleman Plumbers) was on his way home from work when he was asked if he would stop by my house. Extremely professional company with great plumbers - we've had some pretty unusual and hard to diagnose issues with our hot water for the last few months. After having several electricians and plumbers attempt to diagnose an issue, I was pretty far down the path of just getting the whole thing replaced (it's only 3 years old)/ Malcolm came by and ran several test and identified a wire with exposed copper making contact with hot water heater. I called McGee And Son’s at 9 PM thinking I would leave a message for the following day. Someone answered and after hours number and took my message. I called the following morning and they were able to get the first appointment out. They arrived to our house around 9:45 AM to check our water heater where we were having issues with water temperature after only a few showers long. Needed a plumber on the 4th of July. We had a major water leak coming from the condo above us and we called the gentleman plumber. After 3 rings Sara picked up the called, asked a few questions and reassured us we would have someone in the unit within 3 hours. 30 minutes later, she called back to let me know the owner was on his way. He arrived to our unit, assessed our problem and stopped the water leak. He later called me back with recommendations and ideas.
