It’s quite wonderful it is to have a pool available on base. It's a fantastic amenity, and many of us are excited to have access to it. However, I’ve noticed that the hours of operation posted on the base website and on Google Maps don't seem to align with the current schedule. Unfortunately, the pool has been inaccessible for several days. I’ve attempted to reach the contact numbers listed on the GoGoodfellow website, but I have not been able to get through. It's 'ok'. I didn't really appreciate the loud music being played by the side of the pool when all I wanted to do was relax. Loud music beating out obscene language isn't my choice of entertainment. The pool staff seem to have different standards as well. During the week, when the 5pm anthem sounded, 4 pool staff stood in the pool whilst it played. Later in the week a different pool attendant ordered the public out of the water. Double standards? Having the attendants doing a bit of housekeeping would also contribute to a be... read more
