I am very confused with this Attorney and his firm after reading some great reviews for his work and service with other clients here. Unfortunately, our experiences with him so far has not been anywhere near "Professional" "understanding" nor "positive". DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY/man ANY MONEY UNLESS YOU NEVER WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!!! I unfortunately have learned my lesson too late. I paid them $5000 retainer w/ a signed contract and they’ve completely disappeared. No returned calls or emails by anyone in the company. I’ve reported him to the CA. State Bar and BBB. So here's the short story. I came to McFarlin because I had a second mortgage that had defaulted and ultimately was discharged in bankruptcy. However, they had a lien against my home. I wanted the lien removed so I could access the equity in my home (which was substantial). First off, McFarlin was very courteous, listened to my needs, and seemed very capable.
