In 1988 Jeff's father-in-law, Vern, presented an opportunity to work for him at Crocker's Auto Service Center on the corner of rt 4 and Westphalia rd in Prince George's County, MD. After a period of time Jeff eventually grew into the Lead Technician role at Crocker's: a position he held until the sale of the business in September 2019. When the sale of Crocker's was announced Jeff decided to go into business for himself by opening MACS. In total, Jeff has 38 years of experience in the automotive care industry.

Jeff McDowell is solid. I've been bringing my cars here for 4 years now. His rates are reasonable, and he is personable and willing to explain stuff.
Jeff is very knowledgeable and always fair with his pricing and there in a pinch.
Big disappointment. Went to get my vehicle repaired. Had bad oil leak. After I got it repaired my truck had another issue that was making it hard to start. Won't be coming back to this establishment
So I was sent here by Avery Auto Glass. But at Sam's appointed because I paid a lot of money to get an oil leak and come to find out cause another problem that my vehicle would not start until a couple of tries I put new batteries and I put a new key fob battery and went and got a new key spent more money than I needed to and come to find out I still have the same problem I wouldn't go here if I were you.
