The best thing we did was walk away from moving forward with McDowell Mountain Builders. Steve was terrific to work with but he brought on his project manager, Tara, things went south quickly. It was clear to us the moment that she was looped in, we would never get answers to our questions, we only met with her 2 maybe 3 times but both times were a pain to try and get simple, basic questions answered. MMountainBlders has worked on two projects for me, my private residence & a rental property. Not only are all these people fun to be around, fun to watch work, the finished product is amazing. From a complete demo & rebuild of two bathrooms, to tongue & groove ceilings in a living room, kitchen/dining & outside patio, to turning an unused bedroom into a sewing studio complete with 12 ft library ladder, these dudes are good!
