This business replaced a coolant hose in my car and it still leaked afterwards took it back and he said he didn't replace the clamps as they should have done so it took another two weeks for them to do this and after it was done found that it still leaked went back instead of trying to help find the problem they didn't want to know me just basically told me to go elsewhere I paid them $220 to fix this and the car is still leaking coolant .do yourself a favour and heep clear of this place .not much of a mechanic if they can't... read more
Good honest service, had a look over on my ute and didn't try to upsell or charge me for anything that wasn't needed. Explained everything in detail and were very nice. Got family that go here for years, I will continue to do as well.
Exceptionally genuine, reliable and honest
From the very first service I booked with McDowall's, I've appreciated their approachability, professional service, and honesty / integrity. My 17yo ute is my lifeline for work and it is running better than it ever has (noting I cover around 5,000kms a month) and book it in for the regular 10,000km services or any other mechanical issues that arise.
