These jokers are completely unreliable historically, just look at the reviews they get and how consistent the issues are. How the hell they won best managed company at some point is hilarious. Very late or lost oil requests, terrible customer service, never anyone picking up a phone! Absolutely no confidence in them showing up within week and I always need to chase them down. Go elsewhere for your oil and propane. I will be changing providers. You guys suck.

WORST company I have ever dealt with–I wish i could give 0 stars. The most unreliable propane delivery service, costing us many cold nights, no way of cooking food on the stove/oven or taking a shower. All orders were made WEEKS in advance, and McDougall was still being weeks late to deliver with no notice. Calling them was always a whole event, and they always had excuses. Generally not terrible, they have a decent online portal and payments have gotten easier over the years. The largest issue is in the reliability of deliveries. Every year since switching to propane we will either run out or be close enough pilot lights go out before we get a fill multiple times a winter (at least 2-3 times and we need a monthly fill). Each time a delivery was placed 2-3 weeks prior to running out. We would then call the emergency line and they would deliver the next day (often morning), but this has lead to ... read more

So, I was on a fill and then pay system. Didn't pay for a few weeks as I still had propane. Got low on propane and paid what was owed and requested a refill. Now I am told I must pay in full before delivery. I am on wsib, and for me to just snap my fingers and produce 700$ when our financial arrangement was fill, then pay is ridiculous. I am currently working with them to see if they will change their aggressive, abusive attitude. It is -20 at night, and we have no hot water or heat.

I have been a client for 3 years. In that time I have set up automatic deliveries 5 times and received zero automatic deliveries. I've run out of fuel 3 times, placing my home and family in jeopardy. I'm am done with McDougall Energy. My tank is again below empty yet again.
