My brother hit a deer with his '05 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and inadvertently, because a transmission cooler line broke, ran it out of fluid. I called McDonnell's to have the transmission looked at, to have the transfer case adapter seal looked at because it kept breaking, and to replace the trans oil cooler. My son's school helped have a car I just bought March of 2021 evaluated by ATS only, was called and told I needed my engine basically rebuilt ($900)running well over what his school could cover ($300, which ATS was informed of before even dropping it off)so I told them to just forget it all and picked it up only to sell it to a mechanic friend for peanuts in August and find out it just needed a timing belt but it seems they did "some work" and took parts out of my car and just kept them I guess.... I contacted this shop (all correspondence with them came from Grey Beard Automotive) to inspect a vehicle that I was driving from out of state to purchase. They were able to get it in fast, which I appreciate, but they missed that the heater core was shot. After a very cold 4 hour drive home the truck is now in a shop getting a $2000 repair. I contacted the shop to express my disappointment and was spoon fed excuses about how they don't stand behind their technicians or work.
