I ordered a Happy Meal for my child, and they forgot to include the toy. When I called, the lady I spoke with was not nice. She told me I had to show the original receipt, even though I explained that I have it in my app and it clearly shows the purchase. The toy was simply missing from the box. I used a promo code that was printed on a prior receipt to pay for two breakfast sandwiches, I went through the drive-through. After handing my card back to me once I paid for my food, I was told by the employee that she “couldn’t give me a receipt because the printer was broken.” While I was slowly moving towards the next window to pick up my food, I noticed via my side view mirror that the two cars behind me had both been handed receipts by this employee. It's McDonald's, they are the first and foremost in fast food. If you haven't seen the movie "The Founder", you should. McDonald's is one of the true businesses left that actually had a hand in "Making America Great", in the first place. A real American company that takes care of it's own and will help with college, give you the tools and opportunity to move forward with them and continues to give back to the country and individual communities.
