We often visit this location, and my most recent visit on July 9 around 6pm was by far the best. I was warmly welcomed by a staff member named Mehnaz (I hope I got her name right). I believe she’s one of the managers. She greeted me with a smile and kindly helped me place my order, as I wasn’t sure how to get the family meal deal through the kiosk. I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at McDonald’s. I went in simply to ask for a cup of water, and the staff told me I had to purchase something in order to get water. Since when is it McDonald’s policy to deny customers water unless they buy food? This is not only unreasonable, but it also goes against basic decency—water is a human necessity, not a luxury item to upsell. I’ve never experienced this kind of treatment at any other location. I’ve been to a lot of McDonalds but feel the most homey here. I am a picky eater and a vegan so my orders tend to be complicated. This very awesome lady, (I didn’t ask for her name) came up to me to confirm if it was the right order and even offered to make accommodations according to my diet. She then proceeded to bring the food to our table and was so nice when I asked for an extra tray. Truly made my day. This is the only McDonalds I ever wanna come to and that lady right there is the reason.
