I fully understand and respect the government-mandated policy around charging for paper bags, no complaints there. What is unacceptable is how McDonaldâs has implemented this process, especially at your self-serve kiosks. The flow is cluttered with unnecessary prompts, donations, upsells, and vague screens, that confuse customers into clicking "no" to everything, including the bag selection. The user experience is poorly thought out and creates a high cognitive load for what should be a simple fast-food order. Letâs be clear... read more
