I walked into McDonald’s and it felt like a training exercise nobody warned the trainees about, and somehow every employee reminded me of Jimmy and Timmy. Everyone stared at the registers like they were ancient artifacts instead of buttons. My order existed in a philosophical state for a while before becoming food.
