I've never had a problem with payment on McDonald's mobile orders—until recently. I placed an order and was told the payment didn’t go through. But if it was declined, why did I receive a drive-thru code? That’s odd. I insisted I had paid, since this had never happened before. I used the same card at the counter, and it worked perfectly. It’s really suspicious. Fortunately, I was only charged once. The manager admitted this issue has happened before. They really need to fix the system.
