I have never seen a staff so incompetent in all my life. This hospital ER is always empty. And it's not because they do a good job. They treat everyone like they're an inconvenience and they do less than the minimum. Go out to Joplin and tell them your McCune Broken Hospital horror story. We couldn't even get patient right information. And our nurse Angie was literslly crazy, unstable and combative.
Recently visited this ER with a traumatic hand injury from a table saw. Check-in people nice but, while still in significant pain, and bleeding, put into a very back room and forgotten. Had to go get help and ice to control pain. Staff were milling around in the hall (NOT busy) and appeared to all stop for a mass lunch break, even dragging chairs from other rooms into the hall. After doctor finally appeared (two hours), he ordered a presumed nursing student to clean up the wound (without anesthesia). I refused and the doctor... read more
Dr Brown is a good doctor. He cares and did everything he could to help me.
