The food was delicious and the service was great, until a roach crawled on our table. The waiter was so kind to kill it, let's say I wasn't hungry anymore. The manager apologized.
If you like seafood and are in Boston this is a great place to stop for a meal. I was never disappointed in any of my selections especially the oysters.
The service and setting was very good. Food Poor!! The crab and shrimp chili rellano was burned, some kind of processed liquidy cheese? poured out of it with no flavor of crab or shrimp. Served on a huge pile of white rice and black beans. The mahogany cod was not a good combination. The mahogany might be better with salmon. The crab tots appetizer was mainly potatoes and greasy. Fish and chips greasy. Maybe their dinner menu is better. Have been disappointed 2 times for lunch.
Celebrating my birthday, ordered the blackened snapper with crab meat mash potatoes with mushroom spinach and my hubbie had Chilean sea bass with noodles was delicious! Definitely a place to revisit!
This place is incredibly POORLY managed! Pretentious atmosphere, rude service personnel, and average food served for a top dollar price! After reading the reviews here, and after my experience matching the negative ones, I chose NOT to give M&S gift certs this Holiday!!!!
We came here to celebrate our anniversary dessert and it did take a while to get service, but they were very apologetic about it, but the dessert and wine was very good. I got the chocolate bag, which was pretty fancy, light and refreshing for a dessert! It was a nice treat!
Came in for happy hour. Great selection of food on the happy hour menu. It was packed so come get a seat early!
Always a great time at McCormick's & Schmicks. Catering manager Kris has been outstanding!!! Highly recommend for birthday parties ☺
Absolutely the best happy hour in the area... And because of that, it's typically hard to find a seat in the bar area. Love the atmosphere in the outdoor area, too!
