A really wonderful experience. You can tell that John has enormous experience with furniture repair. We had a couch and armchairs that were nearly 30 years old and very much showing their age, and he brought them completely back to life. Strongly recommended.

There is no better place for custom upholstery. John and the team from McConnell's Furnishings and Upholstery do amazing work, building our custom bench seat with a great selection of fabrics and attention to detail that is second to none. Stirling September 2025
John did a high quality job with our 8 dining chairs. John provided straightforward guidance regarding our options, was clear about pricing, on time and delivered a beautiful end product (comfortable too).
We salvaged an outdoor lounge and after re-caning the chair backs all the was needed were new seating pads. A big thank you to Kerrie & John @McConnell Upholstery for not only helping to select the perfect fabric but making up beautiful seating pads
