I had Matt come do a quote for me for a 425 SQ foot basement ceiling. Matt quoted me at $2732.75. That is $5.75 per square foot plus an additional $489 for other bs fees like masking off and "blending" into existing ceiling texture. No wonder he was the only one available to get our ceiling drywall and taped in the next month. Matt is arrogant, smug, and tries to take advantage of people. I went with someone else and got it done for around $1000.
Mccloskey drywall was filmed today for a story about remodeling on kare11. Air date unsure at the moment. But they got good footage of me and a co worker skimming ceilings at a job in northeast Minneapolis.

Matt did an awesome job on my complicated walls when I finished my attic. He even called to check up on me a while later and see how I was enjoying my new living space! I'm using him for sure next time I need any drywall work done.
