Andy was great to work with! He came out right away to diagnosis our commercial boiler. It was repaired in a matter of a few days. We will definitely use McChesney's again!
Furnace went down on a Sunday afternoon. They came out in a very timely fashion for a Sunday evening emergency call. The technician Charlie was absolutely wonderful. He was not only very knowledgeable and able to take a universal part and make it work perfectly but was also a genuinely wonderful person. This will be who I call from now on to help with anything HVAC or plumbing and electrical. Small town feel.
Under new ownership. They charged my grandfather $1401 cash quoted for a 5 hours job. They re-assured him that it was a big job! The worker finished in 1 hour 10 minutes. It was for a heat exchange. This is Elder abuse. I wish I was there to prevent this bullshit from happening.
Our 24 year old AC died right before a heatwave in October. John was out day of to consult and give us a price. We wanted to shop around, but wish we would have just committed right away! Regardless, by the end of the week these guys were out and we had a whole new system at such a better price than others were quoting. Very happy with our experience and glad we had a cooler weekend before trying out our new furnace now.
I've had them at my house twice now on an emergency basis: once to replace a shut off valve for my furnace, and again to replace a capacitor on my AC unit. Both times they were at my house within 2 hours of calling, and they were in and out, with the problem diagnosed and fixed in under an hour. Both techs were very professional and polite. If you're looking to have an "HVAC Guy" saved to your phone, this is the one to go with.
