I hired McCarthy HVAC to service my HVAC system in NW DC. They recommended that I install a new Carrier HVAC system, which I did. Shortly after installation, the system had an issue. It then took them months to get the part and complete the repair. During that time, they provided little to no updates. I had to call multiple times just to find out what was going on. Do not use McCarthy Services or American Residential Services (Parent Company). They will grossly overcharge and will not return calls. And their office staff will treat you rudely. We used McCarthy Services to replace our HVAC on 2020 because we had a neighbor that did sales for them. He helped us and it was reasonable. Something has drastically changed.
