Very disappointing experience with my brand-new Geely Starray. I took delivery on 5 September 2026, and the remote key stopped working the very next morning. Sales manager try to fix it next day but failed and took the car to the service centre. The car was inspected and a software update was attempted, but the problem remains unresolved. Very poor service very unfriendly staff specially front reception Lauren and sales manager Kim. I bought Geely EX5 and very next day I found out it was faulty door. It took them 2 weeks to respond me back. They never apologize for faulty product sale. On top of it has been 2 months now but problem has not been resolved yet and still I am paying my installments and all other related expenses but I do not have car in possession. GEELY ARTARMON McCarrol is worst dealer in Sydney not recommended at all very poor customer service and product quality they sold to my family. We bought the GEELY ex5 and they sold faulty car and force to deal with GEELY directly to deal with and not taking responsibility. Our family is still in trauma and issue has been resolved yet.
This company needs to improve its communication and learn to apologise when things go wrong. A month ago, we visited the dealership. Val greeted us politely but said he had another task and that someone else would assist us. We waited an hour, but no one came, so we left.
