If I could leave a zero I would. In May 2009 my brother lost his life at the hands of Dr McCann. As an asthmatic opioids are to be administered very carefully because they slow down breathing and can lead to death. It’s even more dangerous in someone with asthma and sleep apnea. My brother had both and both were reported all over his medical records. What did McCann do? He kept increasing the dosage not only that he gave my brother 2 contraindicated medications. For your well-being, please do not step foot inside of Dr. McCann’s office. I was extremely respectful right from the gecko; thanking him for seeing me. Immediately Dr. McCann was disrespectful. He immediately clearly did not take my injury seriously. He talked to me for about 5 minutes, examined me for two minutes and then sent me out the door. Soon after he sent out a report stating that this pain is in my head. This has caused me so much grief and pain as Dr. McCann was the only doctor I was able to see regarding my back.... read more
Do not go to this dr for ICBC assessment they will say your assessment will take 2 hours to do assessment time was less than 10 min you spent most of your time waiting then he makes up bogos diagnoses trying to tell you it’s all in your head and that your crazy when you have all the symptoms of a broken back and now 2 years later I find out I been walking around with compression fracture DO NOT GO TO THIS DR THEY WORK FOR ICBC AND WILL MAKE FALLS DIAGNOSIS WITHOUT PROPER ASSESMENT JUST SO ICBC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE HE WILL JUDG... read more
I cannot express how thankful I am to have seen this doctor now for the past 3 years . If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be able to walk. I was injured as a healthcare worker and my discs in my back were not functioning and couldn’t walk he was the god I needed that saved me. Highly recommend this doctor having back issues or pain. Not impressed with Pamela the receptionist had a discussion with her regarding information that I needed tried to discuss it, but she hung the phone up not professional!
