Terrible cookie cutter one question prompt groups. No depth to processing concerns. No process groups. Very little individualized support or assignments. Would not recommend at all especially for mature adults. Mixes adults and adolescents in PHP. Totally inappropriate. I am both a client and a professional therapist within the ED community. My dietitian recommended i look into the Victory program because I have a lot of athletic goals and dreams and she thought it could be helpful. Had an awful experience during the interview to decide whether I would be a good fit for that program. I spoke with Dr Day, who is in charge of the program, and it was horrible. They state progress over perfection, allow yourself room for growth (and stumbling backwards happens), and to focus on your forward progress. My daughter was there just about 2 weeks. On top of the disorder she DOES have gi motility issues and crohn's disease as well as celiac. The doctor refused to listen or care. There were no team meetings to send her home. My daughter, who is a dancer and revealed she had an eating disorder, tried PHP but after 7 weeks was "recommended" to residential treatment.
