I was forced to have Dr McCain be part of my care team during my hospitalization for L5-S1 ALIF. He was dismissive and didn’t listen to anything I had to say. He talked over me, ignored my questions, and came across as arrogant and rude. His methods to manage a newly post-op patient are barbaric and borderline abusive.

Dr. Mccain was the worst doctor i have ever encountered. He is extremely impolite, unpleasant and smug. He did nothing to make my recovery from spine surgery better. I would dread seeing him every day. An attitude adjustment and some sympathy would have been nice. Also listening to my needs would have been wonderful.

This is the 2nd time I was forced to have this doctor on my case due to having my surgery at north Baptist Orthopedic Hospital.He is extremely rude and has zero empathy. The second time in 4 years I was refused post op pain relief because I was a previous pain management patient. All he cared about and repeated constantly was my prescription history. Dr McCain was asked to consult on my case while I was hospitalized. He was extremely rude and overbearing - to the point of bullying. After this doctor spoke to me, I reviewed the notes written by multiple other doctors on my case; Dr McCain either misinterpreted what was written in those notes or he misrepresented the medical information to me.
