Bill diagnosed my outboard issue on my Yamaha 70 immediately after looking at it, during peak season, and called me with a concise diagnosis and recommended next steps. His initial diagnosis was spot on, and for a very reasonable price to take a look at everything. Rather than charge me for an expensive but simple fix, he told me exactly what he believed (correctly) was wrong, and after I explained I was confident in that type of repair, he gave me a few quick reccos on parts, and let me handle the repair on my own saving me... read more
Very happy with the service and proactive attitude provided by McCabe's Mobile Marine. I've used them twice and both times the work has been done on time with good results and reasonable prices. Of particular importance to me, since I don't have a trailer, is that McCabe has access to the Wando River Marine boat ramp so when service can't be done at my dock, the boat can be trailered to McCabe's shop.
Bill made quick work of the 100 hr service on my Yamaha 250, checked my live well pump and remounted my Fusion audio head that had pulled out of the dash in less than 2 days for a very reasonable price. His communication, responsiveness and character are what set him apart. Enjoyed talking with him for 15 mins when I picked my boat up this evening.
