I wanted to get furniture from IKEA for a few years now but IKEA doesn’t ship to Darwin. Found out about McArdle Freight and got a quote to ship from Adelaide to Darwin. I had arranged for IKEA to deliver my items to McArdle office/depot SA. From there, McArdle transported my items via truck to Darwin in three business days. McArdle Freight — your driver’s behaviour was illegal and reckless. One of your prime movers parked facing the wrong way on a residential street in sign posted NO PARKING , blocking all traffic for over well over an hour. This was a deliberate act that disrupted hundreds of residents. Under NSW law, heavy vehicles over 4.5 tonnes are not permitted to park in built-up areas for more than 1 hour without authorisation.
