McAllisters used to be my favorite place to stop and eat at when visiting Sherman from out of town. I didnt mind paying the money for good food, knowing coming to McAllister ALL plates come with a pickle spear I specifically said NO pickles due to allergies, repeated myself, made sure it was on there paid the 78.00 for my order and took my seat to wait. No booth seating, only tables & chairs.
My sandwich looked like a toddler put it together. It was dry. The avocado was black, bread was burnt. There was no meat on the sandwich. It was chips, avocado, and bread. Unacceptable. I didn’t even eat it. What a waste of money. $36 for 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad and a drink.
Ordered on the app and tried to redeem the free glass of tea, but it was very difficult and the lady at the restaurant refused to give me a glass of tea so that’s fine. Order chicken salad sandwich, and there was one of those fancy toothpicks, but it was horizontally inside. My first bite was a broken toothpick in my mouth. I ordered the 2/2 sandwiches actually a half a chicken salad sandwich and a half bacon something else wrap. Very small. Very disappointed I am sorry.
