We first discovered McAlister’s Deli down in Wilmington, North Carolina and loved it, so when we moved to Lake County, we were excited to see there was one right in Gurnee. Finally got the chance to stop in for lunch and it did not disappoint. I had the chicken salad croissant with tortilla soup and both were delicious. My wife had the crunchy jalapeño turkey sandwich, which was amazing, and even the broccoli cheddar soup was great… and I’m usually not a broccoli soup guy.
