Had a delicious meal at McAlister’s Deli! I ordered the grilled chicken, avocado, and bacon sandwich with spring mix, tomatoes and honey mustard on a croissant, along with a side of fresh fruit, lemon tea, and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The carrot cake was delicious! I enjoyed a couple of bites, along with some of my fruit, and took the rest home to enjoy later. The customer service was excellent! The food is decent, a bit pricey. They have awesome tea and veggie chili.
I just left and I got the worst food I have ever ate. Called in and asked to place a take out order. Was left on the phone for 8 minutes. Then got a 12" French dip with 2 cups of there potato soup.Well the French dip sandwich does not come in a wheat sub! It comes in a sandwich. Then the roast beef was so bad. They had a big piece of fat on one of the sandwichs and I couldn't chew threw it. Ended up in the garbage. I just spent $30 on food that went in the trash. Will not ever happen again. Just giving a pre warning.
Ordered online and scheduled order for pickup an hour later, dinner time, 5:30; 2 potatoes. The person at the grill window, manager type, said it would be at least 30 minutes before spuds would be ready. The person at the grill area, manager type, was rude and unprofessional. She said you can wait 30 minutes more or get a refund. We asked for the refund and we didn't get a receipt for the refund because she said since it was an online order it would take 3-5; business days.
