I wish I would have taken pictures before I gave them back all our meals and asked for a refund but I was so disgusted especially since my kids had started chowing down . Check their plates! It was so dirty and I noticed on the edge that it looked like old ketchup but thought “ surely not” so I wiped it with a napkin and it came off so then I lifted the paper they place on top of the place and noticed more old crusted food. Served salad and sandwich with inedible lettuce - spring mix that was old and slimy and cucumbers that were so old they were bitter. Brought to the manager - only response was that she told the kitchen “we need to throw out those cucumbers.” No apology, no offer to make a $14 lunch right. The restaurant was nearly empty - I assume this was why. There are lots of good McAlister’s locations. This isn’t one of them. Last time I’ll eat there. Good luck staying in business.
My husband and I had lunch there today. The staff was very kind. We both had the salad with blueberries, strawberries, chicken and pecans. Neither of us could eat them. The fruit almost tasted spoiled, the chicken was unidentifiably shredded and had lots of grissle. I'm not sure I can clearly articulate the taste of the lettuce. A very distinct taste of stale, aged, gone-to-the-bad, lettuce. We are literally hopeful it doesn't come back to haunt us in the next few hours. Has anyone else had this same experience?
The food is normally good. I wanted a simple chips and nacho cheese but my hubs wanted to upgrade to the nacho supreme. We got our nachos and they gave us the bottom of the bag. They covered it up with all the chili and sent it right out 🤔. I had to use a fork if I wanted to eat it at all. You should NEVER feed your customer crumbs from the bottom of the bag!
