I brought our entire tennis team of 14 players into the McAlister's Deli in Jacksonville IL. We arrived right at closing, 8:50, and we were starving from a long day of travel and playing. The workers went above and beyond in so many ways. They could have easily just turned us away and locked the doors. They stayed over, got every order correct, and the food was outstanding. Order delivery of a cup of Chicken Mexican tortilla soup plus a half Spud Max from the You Pick Two menu. The potato was excellent and had the soup included tortilla chips, the review would be five stars. The soup tasted like a Mexican cheese soup with plenty of spices and plenty of chicken. Not a tortilla chip in the order. Also ordered unsweet ice tea with lemon. Superb, as ever.
