Trekking was far and you get to see many people doing trek. One time watch to see the peaks.
Needless to say why knob is the most photographed spot in the Appalachian trail. The hike to knob is intermediate and it is almost more than 8 miles out and back. You need to find a parking spot with difficulty if you happened to be here over the weekend. I am not sure about alternate parking places but there are few that you can find. The trail could be snowy and you can find the black ice so use nice boots and also the hiking poles may help.
