We work with multiple facility management companies and this is the first one that not only doesnt pay their invoices, but completely ignores emails and phone calls to the accounts payable department. Now I have to warn all the contractors that I know all over the nation that I have talked into working with facility management companies to avoid Stratus/MC Group!
STAY AWAY. Horrible business practice. They charge 3x what my local people will do AND they continue to increase their price every time we talk. Went from $3k to $6k with the only modifications to the original quote being LESS work. How are you charging me twice the original quote for a lesser job? Ripoff of a company.
Stratus is looking for any way they can to not pay their subs! We did an install for them and then they said we didn't send them the invoice on time and they aren't going to pay! $7500! This is how small business go bankrupt! We have to accept their payment terms, jump through their hoops with multiple project managers, sign offs and photos and still they will not pay! Installers quit doing jobs for these companies please.
Approves costs for sign repair however does not pay the invoice. Bad business practice. I’m a small business and I am out thousands of dollars dealing with this company. BEWARE!!
