The technician did not know what she should be testing for. I went for a doppler ultrasound for my leg. This is supposed to check for clots in all the veins - superficial AND deep. I had trouble in my superficial vein. Even after I told her that, she stuck to only the deep vein ultrasound and found “no issues”. Considering how dangerous a clot in the veins can be, I was utterly shocked at the lack of knowledge of the radiologist on a fairly common procedure. It was a total waste of time and money.
