Though he is no longer providing ophthalmology services in the Treasure Valley due to the closure of Seltzer Medical Group, I want to thank Dr. McKinnon for the years of stellar care I received. Though I lived in Boise, it was worth the commute to his Nampa and, on occasion, his Caldwell location. He performed my cataract surgery with great success and was constantly proactive in my eye care. I will miss Dr. McKinnon greatly and wish the best in his future endeavors!

He saved my eyesight from a very bad medical drug conflict. He stood firm, made others aware in a very nice way, and all doctors agreed with his decision. He also gave me other medical tips in a very kind and direct way. He listens, honest, straight forward in my situation. I know he will find the answers to help my eyes, protect my eyes, and teach me better ways to keep my eyes in good conditions over the years as I age.

Eleven years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare condition and was going blind in both eyes. Dr. McKinnon knew exactly what was happening and he saved my vision. Needless to say, I was scared to death and he helped me to get through each procedure with care and confidence. I moved out of the area 7 years ago and my main concern was that I wouldn't find a doctor who was as knowledgeable and caring as Dr. McKinnon. I truly owe my sight to him.
