I put in an application on May 3, 2022. I called and went by numerous times for 2 years. I moved to another state for a while. No one was ever the contacted me back. I finally reached another person that worked there. She was so sweet and helpful. She said that Jessica is the one that takes care of that part of the apartments. Jessica is there only on Tuesday and Friday. I was in town and went on Tuesday. Jessica (the person that I handed my application to in 2022) said that she didn't have it. This place has no concern for the elderly at all!! The apartments roofs are coming off and leaking due to storms. They have yet to fix them and it been months. The sidewalks are pathetic the elderly can't even use their walkers because they are falling apart this has also been months. This is a list of what they don't offer anymore a full time management on property, clubhouse or computer use, maintenance, commodities, they don't even keep check on them if they become sick. I moved to McKendree Arbors in June of 2021, I could not be more pleased. I enjoy living here so much, It's very well maintained and such a nice quiet place to call home. The office manager, Jessica is awesome and is there to help us in every way she can. If your looking for a AWESOME place to live I highly recommend McKendree Arbors in Springfield. Thanks McKendree Arbors, Jessica, and all the staff, I appreciate you all so much.
It's quiet I'll give it that but if you want super nosy neighbors, an office manager that lies through her teeth and goes as far in inspections as to go through the tenants laundry. I have documented proof that my elderly mother in law is being evicted for having several toothbrushes in her bathroom and for having my laundry mixed with hers (laundry that had been washed by me the day of the inspection with mine at the laundromat that had yet to be seperated out from each other.)
