Absolutely the worst doctor. Prescribes drugs like their candy endangering his patients and their families, even when contacted and asked not to renew prescription. Should have his medical license revoked. Just a legal pill pusher no better than a corner drug dealer.
Dr. McIntosh is the most caring doctor I have ever had. He spends the needed time with me and explains everything. Highly recommend him.
Over the last six months, the office and staff have caused me to go without my prescription for multiple days in a row. The first time a nurse told the pharmacy I was no longer a patient there. I have been for years. The second time is happening now and I've gone three days without my medication even though I have called in a handful of times over the last week. He's a great physician! He returns your contact requests as soon as he can. Because he is so appreciated, he is maxed out on patient availability. Outside of me living out of state for a while, I've been happy with Dr. McIntosh for at least 20 years. I dont see how the office, how the office is managed or lack there of has anything to do with a Physician's grading.
Yes, it's difficult to get an appointment or speak to a human. This is not the Doctor's problem, this is how BJC decides to staff his office. It is easy to communicate with him via the 'MyChart' app - he typically responds to any request by the end of the day. Best doctor I've ever had - he's been my primary physician for well over a decade. Would highly recommend.
